The establishment of new financial regulators and an overhaul of tax exemptions for expats were some of the top read stories by our South African audience in 2017. To see the others click through the slides.
In January it was announced South Africa’s Financial Services Board (FSB) will limit upfront commission to 50%, with the remainder set to be paid on an “as and when” basis.
At the time, it was the latest update as to what the regulator would include in the first set of Retail Distribution Review (RDR) measures.
