Increasing demands on the supply of energy, particularly the traditional fossil fuels, has sparked a surge in innovation in renewable energy methods.
The evolution of the energy market from ‘dirty’ power to green will be another key part of the economy in the coming years Pinggera says.
“In the UK, onshore wind is the most mature renewable technology and the country has a naturally high wind resource over many other geographies.
“The UK is also the leader in offshore wind,” Pinggera adds.
