The supply and demand dynamic of the UK’s housing market is, as most have realised, heavily out of whack.
A growing population and limited supply of new and affordable housing has caused a “significant imbalance”, Pinggera says.
He believes it will have a lasting impact on the market and investors in the future.
“This has led to a rise in renting – a trend set to persist. The Private Rented Sector (PRS) is now tackling this challenge by creating new purpose built rental homes,” Pinggera adds.
