The £2.5bn fund, which launched in 1996, is one of three FTSE All Share trackers that is tied for first on costs, providing investors exposure for 0.06%. However, of the three cheapest funds on offer, the Fidelity fund delivers marginally lower performance. It returned 6.03% annualised over three years and 7.21% over five years net of fees, according to Morningstar.
