What do asset managers get paid?

New data has revealed the most generous asset managers in terms of salary – so how much exactly does a director, VP, associate or analyst across Europe actually get paid?
According to Emolument, at junior levels, Aberdeen Asset Management offers the most generous pay-packet for analysts who earn an average £55,000 a year with a £15,000 annual bonus.
Henderson Global Investors, which also pays £55,000, offers a bonus of £5,000.
Emolument says Goldman Sachs pays £53,000 with a bonus of £14,000, making roles there an attractive option.
Aviva Investors and Schroders also appear in the top-five most generous pay for analysts with salaries of £50,000.
