The chief executives of the biggest brokers and financial intermediaries in the UAE are to be brought together for the first time to discuss the future of the industry at International Adviser’s Gulf Expert Investor Forum next month.

Attendees at the event, which will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai on 13 November, will be treated to what promises to be a lively discussion about the future of the advice market in the United Arab Emirates.

All large firms in the UAE are to be represented, with the roll-call including: Nexus’ Tarun Khanna, Continental’s  Ashok Sardana, deVere’s Mike Coady, AES International’s Sam Instone, Mondial’s Sean Kelleher, Globaleye’s Tim Searle and Acuma’s Kevin Thorp.

Debate will focus on the huge opportunities open to intermediaries in the region, as well as the challenges they face both in terms of the changing face of regulation and the different needs of the clients they serve.

The roundtable discussion forms one part of a packed day of events, which will also see presentations from the day’s sponsors; BlackRock, Schroders, Natixis, Mashreq, Brooks Macdonald and Creechurch, as well as a presentation from guest speaker Simon Williams, chief economist of HSBC Bank.
