Steyn joins the company from Franklin Templeton Investments where he led the company’s retail distribution in Africa. Before that he was a sales leader at a global brokerage firm and private bank.
Sales director Nigel Watson said the company has made “major strides in the past six months”, with funds under management increasing 40% to £700m.
“We are committed to capitalising on our presence in the established territories which include Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South Africa and Latin America,” added Watson.
“Our goal is to continue to widen our ‘global reach’ and support our distribution channels with the highest calibre sales managers.”
