Rockefeller Capital Management
Financial advisory firm has hired private wealth management teams the FMC Group, Amsler, Laborde & Bowman, and ZWMG.
The teams will be based in Walnut Creek, California, Houston, Texas, and Scottsdale, Arizona, respectively.
The FMC Group join from Merrill Lynch and include:
- Robert Fink, managing director and private wealth adviser;
- Donny Chu, senior vice president and private wealth adviser;
- John McMahon, Jr, senior vice president and business development and relationship manager;
- Sue Badgley, associate vice president and senior client relationship manager; and
- Hillary Collins, vice president and team business manager and private wealth analyst.
Amsler, Laborde & Bowman’s team of five, including Francis Amsler, managing director and private wealth adviser, Marc Laborde, managing director and private wealth adviser, Christopher Bowman, vice president and private wealth adviser, Angie Bacon, vice president, and Susan Bowman, vice president, join from UBS.
ZWMG’s Jason Zilveti, managing director and private wealth adviser, Ryan Papez, vice president and private wealth adviser and Frances Miranda, associate vice president and senior client adviser, also join Rockefeller from UBS.
Alera Group
The national independent insurance agency has appointed Tina Hohman as executive vice president and wealth management practice leader.
Previously, she served as the chief operating officer of wealth management, at GCG Financial.
UBS Private Wealth Management
Bryant Davis has joined the firm as a financial adviser and senior vice president of wealth management in Los Angeles.
Before joining UBS Private Wealth Management, Bryant spent over five years as a senior wealth adviser with the Century City office of Comerica Bank.
FSC Securities
The network member firm of Advisor Group has recruited two independent financial professional businesses.
The two independent practices joining FSC Securities include Richardson eWealth Strategies in Walnut Creek, California and Houston-based John Holmes.
Richardson eWealth Strategies is led by Clement Richardson, a 19-year veteran of the financial services industry who specialises in financial planning and wealth management services for high net worth individuals and families.
Holmes has worked in financial advisory services for 11 years and has built a practice serving individuals, families, non-profits and institutions with financial planning and wealth management services.
Fieldpoint Private
The wealth advisory and private banking boutique has hired Joe Fernandez, Christina Hudson and Johanna Arbelaez-Perez.
Fernandez spent 28 years with BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Hudson spent 22 years at BNY Mellon, and Arbelaez-Perez is a 20-year BNY veteran.
Baird
The employee-owned, international wealth management firm has hired The Parker Group to join its newly formed branch in Columbia, Tennessee.
Formerly with Morgan Stanley, the team includes Stewart Parker and Drew Parker, who will both serve as directors; Clay Buttrey, who will serve as vice president and associate financial adviser; and Richard Law, who will serve as financial adviser.
Raymond James
The wealth firm has hired financial adviser Edwin Lamberty to its office location in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Lamberty joins the firm from Wells Fargo Advisors.
RBC Wealth Management
Carol Wilshire, managing director and financial adviser, joins RBC Wealth Management with more than 20 years’ experience.
She has a primary focus on financial planning and asset management for high net worth individuals and retirees in the Los Angeles area.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management
It has appointed Christine Calderon as a client strategist in Chicago
She was previously executive director and banker at JP Morgan.
Brevan Howard
The investment firm has made changes to its business development team.
Natalie Smith, formerly with Commonwealth Asset Management, joins in New York as head of strategy.
Peter Hornick, formerly with Exodus Point Capital Management and Millennium Management, joins in New York as head of business development for Brevan Howard Alpha Strategies (US).
