In November David Hughes, DeVere Acuma’s regional director, departed after two years in the role and more than a decade with the group.
In a message sent to colleagues, seen by International Adviser, Hughes thanked everyone for all their support and loyalty over the years.
“One person I will always be grateful to is Nigel [Green] for the opportunity, trust and guidance he has given me,” Hughes said.
DeVere Group chief executive and founder Nigel Green (pictured) later confirmed he would be directly taking over the role.
