Reyl Private Office, a subsidiary of Geneva-based Reyl Group has appointed Guillaume Micolau as a senior wealth planner.
This appointment expands the range of the company’s international legal and tax advisory services.
Reyl Private Office offers non-financial asset management services for a business client base with a strong international focus. The company said Micolau would offer “extensive experience and specialist technical skills in wealth structuring”.
Micolau began his career in 2000, when he joined a Franco-Swiss wealth management consultancy firm. From 2004, he worked at two leading law firms in Paris. He first joined Monassier & Associés, before moving to the Althémis practice, where he was appointed head of the international clients department in charge of international tax and estate planning and cross-border wealth structuring.
With expertise across international tax, private international law and notarial law, Micolau will advise clients on asset acquisition, structuring, protection and estate planning, in a cross-border environment.
The business model at Reyl is a fees-based one avoiding conflict of interest and providing impartial advice, the company said.
