Stonehage Fleming Investment Management (SFIM) has appointed Prandhana Naidu as a senior equity research analyst within the flagship £3.8bn Global Best Ideas Equity Strategy (GBI).
Naidu, pictured below left, joins from Melville Douglas Investment Management, where she was a senior global equity analyst and co-fund manager. In total, she has well over 10 years’ investment industry experience.
Based in London, Naidu, who has particular expertise in consumer and industrial sectors, amongst other sectors, will report into Head of Global Equity Management Gerrit Smit, the company said
Stonehage Fleming Equity Management is a growth equity boutique and sits within the wider Stonehage Fleming Investment Management business based in London. Its flagship strategy, the Stonehage Fleming Global Best Ideas Equity Fund, was launched in August 2013 by Gerrit Smit. It currently has around £2.1bn of assets, with a further £1.7bn managed under the same model in segregated accounts.
