Bradshaw is currently managing director of Glacier International, the offshore division of the Sanlam Group, but will begin his new role on 5 January 2015.
In the London-based position, he will be responsible for all the sales and distribution activity of Skandia International, and will report to Steven Levin, global head of distribution.
He previously helped the company set up the Old Mutual International business in South Africa, and was head of its sales team.
Skandia International is part of Old Mutual Wealth and will rebrand to Old Mutual International by the end of the year.
On the appointment, Steven Levin, global head of distribution at Old Mutual Wealth, said: “[Bradshaw’s] leadership will help reinvigorate, challenge and deliver growth in our international markets.”
Bradshaw’s predecessor, Victor France, left the role in July after filling it for three years.
He joined the company in September 2011 and was tasked with conducting a review of its international distribution strategy and implementing a number of changes to it. With this completed, Skandia said France left the business “in great shape”.
