Consumers in the UK and globally will seek out bargains on Black Friday, but what about the investment world? Here are the views of seven managers and areas in the market that they see as undervalued.
In the past year, India has seen some ground-breaking cultural shifts with Narendra Modi’s radical demonetisation process.
Commenting on India’s “strong domestic story”, Simon Finch, portfolio manager at Ashburton Investments said it was “driven by long-term structural drivers of demographics and urbanisation”.
He added: “These factors lead us to primarily focus our investments on Indian-listed companies tapped into domestic demand.
“For example, India’s television market has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the country’s growth in recent years and is forecast to continue growing healthily over the next few years – with subscription services yet to penetrate significantly.
“We recently purchased a position in Sun TV Networks, a stock we have been closely tracking for some time.”
