By , 29 May 12

Multi-manager Russell Investments has added Strategic Fixed Income to the list of managers running its global bond fund mandates.

Multi-manager Russell Investments has added Strategic Fixed Income to the list of managers running its global bond fund mandates.

The Russell Global Bond, Global Bond (euro hedged) and Australia-based International Bond funds – all of which are Dublin-domiciled – will all benefit from Strategic Fixed Income’s exposure to international bonds. They are run by portfolio manager, Albert Jalso.

The funds’ strategies are to off multi-style, multi-manager diversified propositions with managers making different duration, currency and country allocations.

Strategic Fixed Income brings the total number of global bond managers to five, alongside Pimco, Loomis Sayles, Colchester and Brookfield.

Strategic Fixed Income’s main focus is on integrating fundamental macroeconomic views with technical trading analysis to generate an overview of the most current investment themes. It currently uses investment grade government cash bonds plus currency and interest rate derivatives.
