His recruitment follows the promotion of Nadja McKenzie to head of sales for Africa earlier this year. According to Royal London 360°, the appointments reflect its “commitment to increasing its presence in the region and building strong relationships with IFAs there.”
During his time at Ecclesiastical, Badura was responsible for growing the firm’s ethical funds. Prior to this he was at Arbuthnot Banking Group, where he worked as a business development manager.
At Royal London 360°, Badura, a native of Johannesburg, is responsible for selling the firm’s international single premium bond, regular premium savings and protection products throughout Africa.
“Wayne Badura has a proven track record in both product sales and marketing, and in investments, and that, coupled with his experience of working in the UK and in Africa, make him a valuable addition to my team,” said McKenzie.
“We are incredibly committed to the Africa region and increasing our market share there, and Wayne’s appointment affirms this.”
