Law firm-led professional services business Mourant Consulting has launched an offering in the Cayman Islands.
The company offers a range of services including an operation for international trusts and private clients.
Amy Gurm has been appointed to head up the offering in the Cayman Islands. She was previously director of Mourant Consulting in Jersey.
Joining Gurm is Yara Henry, who has been appointed to the role of associate director. Henry has over 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands. Prior to joining Mourant Consulting, she was a chief analyst in the banking supervision division at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).
Mike Jones, Mourant Consulting managing director, said: “We’re proud to launch this new offering in the Cayman Islands. Mourant Consulting in Jersey has been a huge success and Amy has played an integral part in that, so we’re sure she’ll grow the business to be just as successful in the Cayman Islands. Her expertise in risk and compliance makes her the ideal fit to lead this new service. The launch is a direct result of growing demand for our regulatory services and will further strengthen our client offering.
“It is a pleasure to also welcome Yara to our growing team. Yara brings with her a wealth of experience in financial services regulation in the Cayman Islands and will be a valuable asset to the team.”
