LIA appoints Khoo Kah Siang president

Life Insurance Association has appointed Khoo Kah Siang as its president, replacing Annette King who has moved on a higher role in Manulife Singapore, the association said today.
Siang concurrently holds the title of chief executive officer of Great Eastern Life Assurance Company and is also the chairman of Great Eastern Financial Advisers.
He has accumulated 18 years of experience in the financial sector, including four years as deputy director in the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
The LIA elects president and deputy President annually to serve a one-year term of office.
