KPMG in the crown dependencies has promoted Matt Thomas to the position of director in the tax team.
Thomas (pictured) has been with KPMG for over a decade, having originally joined as a trainee, during which time he has developed a deep expertise in both domestic and international corporate tax matters, with a particular emphasis on private equity and venture capital structures.
His extensive network within KPMG globally has enabled him to assist crown dependency based clients with a variety of international tax issues while maintaining a local point of contact.
In his new role as director, Matt will lead the Guernsey corporate service line, further strengthening KPMG’s presence and service offerings in Guernsey and the crown dependencies more broadly. His promotion reflects KPMG’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and recognising outstanding performance within the organisation.
“We are thrilled to promote Matt to Director,” said Paul Eastwood, head of tax at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies. “His deep understanding of our clients’ needs and his innovative approach to problem-solving make him an invaluable asset to our team. We look forward to his continued contributions in this new role.”
