kestrel expands investment management team

By International Adviser, 10 Jan 12

Boutique investment management firm Kestrel Investment Partners has expanded its team with the appointment of Stuart Rollason as a portfolio manager.

Boutique investment management firm Kestrel Investment Partners has expanded its team with the appointment of Stuart Rollason as a portfolio manager.

Rollason will lead the Kestrel Inheritance Tax Solution (known as KITS), which mitigates inheritance tax by creating individual portfolios of AIM-listed shares eligible for Business Property Relief.

He was previously a founder and partner at Bluehone Investors and before that a fund manager at Active Capital Trust.

Prior to this he was a director and small cap pension fund manager at F&C Asset Management.

Ari Zaphiriou-Zarifi, chairman at Kestrel, says: “We continue to have exciting growth ambitions at Kestrel. Stuart’s appointment not only strengthens the team, but it also enables us to further develop our inheritance tax solution offering, where we see strong potential, and gives us the ability to increase our overall product range."
