Mike Coady, the deVere group director in charge of the project, described the centre as a support facility to provide ongoing technical back-up and “a wide-ranging set of support services for our Europe-based financial advisers and their clients”.
The centre, which is based in Fuengirola’s Myramar building, “streamlines much of the administrative and research work” to give advisers more time to spend with clients, he added.
Andalucía has one of the largest expat communities in the world and a pool of many people to tap into with customer service skills who are out of work due to the recession, he said.
