Corlett, who previously worked at Kleinwort Benson as head of Isle of Man compliance, operational risk and money laundering, will provide regulatory advice to all business units operating in the Isle of Man as part of the UK and offshore islands teams.
Her career has also encompassed being the head of offshore compliance at Close Bank and head of compliance and operational risk international at Nedgroup.
Corlett said the size and breadth of Barclays operations “encompass a wide range of local and international products and services brings a huge amount of variety to our work”.
Managing director at Barclays Isle of Man Simon Scott highlighted “the speed and scope of change in relation to regulatory requirements coupled with the increasing influence of global regulation”.
