Pinnington, a lawyer who has practised in London, the British Virgin Islands and Jersey, will be responsible for the development of the corporate business division across the group.
Charles Grime has also been named as group director, based in the London office. His career includes working in the Caribbean before helping set up Ogier’s Cayman practice in London, and considerable experience of the African market. Most recently, he was a partner and investment director at Duet Infrastructure Partners which latterly became Aventa Capital Partners.
In the Guernsey office, Marc Farror becomes a director of the Guernsey office, after 20 years’ of experience working with Jersey’s independent trust companies. In addition to developing the group’s fiduciary business in Guernsey, he will play a key role in working with JTC Group’s clients in Russia and CIS.
Nigel Le Quesne, JTC Group CEO and chairman, said the appointments will further support the group’s expansion plans in some of the key markets across the world.
Last month, JTC Group acquired a "substantial book of private client business" from Herald Trust Company, with 27 Herald directors and staff based in Jersey transferring to JTC Group’s St Helier offices,
