The company’s chief executive, James Bennett said, with the company having experience in dealing with clients in West Africa, predominantly in Nigeria, the decision to open an office in Ghana makes sense.
“With the revolution of the oil and gas industry in Ghana well under way we feel that it is time to expand our network and capitalise on our years of experience and understanding in the area,” said Bennett.
“We propose to continue to push our UK based model for holistic and fee based services, offering complete clarity to our clients at every step of the advice process.”
Aston said it currently has clients throughout the region “from Liberia to Gabon” adding that it prides itself on “being a pioneer for the provision of financial services to a client base that has previously been largely ignored by the larger competitors in the market”.
“Our unique understanding of the challenges faced in the area means that we can tailor our services totally to the tight-knit community in this region, delivering consistent advice, differentiating ourselves from more traditional and aggressive techniques seen elsewhere,” added Bennett.
