Best and worst expat countries for high pay

The best places to earn a decent annual wage without having to work around the clock are in western Europe. Eastern Europe fared badly but Mexico ranked bottom, a recent report by ExpatFinder found.

Technology company ExpatFinder, which helps prospective expats find products and services for their life abroad, analysed data from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and ranked the best countries for high pay and low tax.

To combat the disparity between how far money will go in individual countries, ExpatFinder has adjusted the figures for purchasing parity power (PPP), making the wages more directly comparable.
