The Guernsey domiciled fund, which was launched in March this year, is now available through Legal & General, Prudential and SEB Life International – part of the Swedish SEB Group of financial companies.
Since its launch, the fund has attracted £11m in investment and has recently acquired land near Newcastle University Business School with full planning permission and which it said will be valued at in excess of £20m upon completion.
Andrew Jamieson at Crosslane Group, which is working with Victus in the development of the scheme, said: “We are committed to taking advantage of the student accommodation opportunities available in mainland Europe and have already established CBC, our first European joint venture partnership in Germany. Ten of the top 20 university cities are in Europe and increasingly attract students from across the globe so we are working towards a presence in these locations."
