UBS Global Wealth Management
The Swiss giant has unveiled its athletes and entertainers strategic client segment, a group formed to provide financial advice and guidance to clients across sports and entertainment industries.
It will work in close collaboration with UBS Financial Advisors.
The segment will be led by professional American football veteran Adewale Ogunleye.
He joined UBS in 2019 as the head of sports and entertainment at UBS Global Wealth Management.
Private Advisor Group
The registered investment adviser (RIA) firm has named Robert Moore as its chief executive.
PAG co-founders and lead shareholders John Hyland and Pat Sullivan will continue as key members of the firm’s senior executive leadership team.
Moore previously served as chief executive of Cetera Financial Group from 2016 to 2019. Before that, he served as president of LPL Financial from 2012 to 2015.
BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM)
The asset manager has named Johanna Lasker and Amanda Raynor as chief executive and deputy chief executive of BNPP AM, respectively.
Lasker is currently head of the official institutions group at the firm. She replaces Daniel Klein, who will be returning to Europe.
Raynor is currently chief operating officer of BNPP AM.
Concord Asset Management
The independent RIA firm and division of Concord Wealth Partners has named Mitch York to the newly created position of chief investment officer.
Previously, he was a manager of portfolios and investments with Edelman Financial Services.
Sequoia Financial Group
The registered investment adviser has named Chad Roope as chief investment officer, effective immediately.
Before joining Sequoia Financial, Roope was chief investment officer and portfolio manager for Fundamentum, the in-house asset management arm of Stratos Wealth Partners.
Raymond James
The wealth firm has hired financial advisers Jeffrey Garell, Robert Emmer and Michael Campbell, along with their Silversage Advisors team to offices in Irvine, California.
Joining Garell, Emmer and Campbell at Raymond James are eight team members:
- Matthew Mendoza, service adviser;
- Karin Mason Garell, chief financial officer of Silversage Advisors;
- Lynn LaTendresse, client services manager;
- Kristin Evans, investment portfolio associate;
- Peggy Pinkerton, client relationship manager; and
- client service associates Cynthia Terrazas, Christopher Deo, Dominic Bastone and Thorne Saunders.
They join RJFS from Geneos Wealth Management.
Also, Raymond James has hired financial advisers Jim Grymala, Julianne Grymala and Benjamin Kneeland to offices in Duluth, Minnesota.
They join from Morgan Stanley and the team operates as Grymala & Kneeland Wealth Management of Raymond James.
Summit Financial Wealth Advisors
The independent wealth management firm has named Léna Satgé Ormond as investment adviser representative.
She will also continue to be operations manager.
RBC Wealth Management
The firm has bolstered its Cleveland office by hiring a team from UBS.
The Westlake Wealth Management Group is composed of:
- Samuel Martello, senior vice president – financial adviser, who has 34 years of industry experience;
- Brian Sullivan, first vice president – financial adviser, who has 25 years of experience; and
- Adrienne Kittle, senior registered client associate.
Fiduciary Trust International
The global wealth manager and wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton has appointed Amy Ko as senior relationship manager and managing director based in the firm’s San Mateo office.
Ko joins Fiduciary Trust International from the Silicon Valley Bank Private & Wealth Advisory Group in San Francisco.
