Deutsche Bank Wealth Management
Charlie Burrows, head of banking products and services, will take on an additional role at Deutsche Bank WM as head of the southeast US market.
He will be responsible for the development and growth of the firm’s wealth management business in Florida, especially in Miami, Palm Beach, Naples, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville.
Raymond James
Financial adviser Anothip Zimmerman has joined Raymond James & Associates, the firm’s employee adviser channel in Vienna, Virginia.
Most recently, she was at Wells Fargo where she managed $174m (£128m, €154m) of client assets, and going forward she will operate as Thip Zimmerman Wealth Advisory of Raymond James.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management
The wealth firm has expanded its Seattle office with two hires.
Patrick Burke becomes senior private banker and Ben Kalman as senior wealth manager.
Burke used to work at Wells Fargo Private Bank in a similar role, while Kalman was a vice-president at Tiedemann Advisors.
Key Private Bank
The wealth management division of KeyCorp named Jamie Reed as national head of sales for the private bank, based in Columbus, Ohio.
He joins from JP Morgan Chase where he served as wealth management business regional director for Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.
Rockefeller Capital Management
Morgan Stanley Investment Management veteran Ruchir Sharma has taken on the role of managing director and chairman of Rockefeller International.
His appointment will be effective from 14 February 2022.
Wilmington Trust
The wealth management firm has expanded its Los Angeles and western region team with four hires:
- Thomas Mayer as a senior wealth fiduciary adviser;
- Vijay Chandran as a senior private banker and managing director for the western region;
- John Bradarich as a senior investment adviser; and,
- Velios Kodomichalos as a senior wealth adviser.
M&A
Veris Wealth Partners
Private investor Rosemont has made a minority investment in Veris Wealth Partners, a wealth firm with over $2bn in AuM.
Veris provides customised and diversified portfolios for clients who focus on ESG impact and themes.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Inspirion Wealth Advisors
Illinois-based investment advisory firm Inspirion has partnered with Merchant Investment Management.
This will help the business expand its reach into the regional wealth market beyond the Chicago area.
Through the partnership the companies will also develop organic and inorganic growth opportunities as well as deliver more sophisticated wealth solutions for ultra-high net worth clients.
