Bryan Pinsky has been named president of individual retirement and Tim Heslin has been named president of US life insurance.
Pinsky joined AIG in 2014 and most recently was senior vice president of individual retirement pricing and product development.
Heslin joined AIG in 1999 and most recently was chief life product, pricing and underwriting officer for AIG Life US.
NewEdge Wealth
The advice firm has appointed Frank Ackerman as senior vice president, Susan Kim as vice president and relationship manager, and Jason Fay joins as a financial adviser.
Ackerman brings nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry with extensive background in the hedge fund space.
Kim has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and Fay holds over 20 years of experience in the financial services space with a focus on wealth strategy and relationship management.
RBC Wealth Management
A financial adviser with approximately $215m in client assets has joined RBC Wealth Management’s Denver Tech branch.
The Hansen Wealth Management Group joins from UBS and is composed of:
- Cynthia Hansen, managing director and financial adviser;
- Elyse Martinez, client associate; and
- Brenda Kochevar, senior investment associate.
Allspring Global Investments
Kate Sandman McKinley will become chief legal officer of the newly independent company.
She will join from State Street Global Advisors, where she served as general counsel and senior vice president since 2019.
M&A
Galway Holdings
The financial services firm has made a strategic investment in registered investment adviser (RIA) firm MAI Capital Management.
Galway’s investment will help MAI accelerate its organic growth trajectory, enhance its client service offerings, and further expand its national presence through M&A.
MAI’s executive team will remain the same.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
