UK life insurance broker enters liquidation

After directors concluded it was insolvent

|

Retail life insurance broker Eunisure Limited has entered liquidation with Roderick Graham Butcher of Butcher Woods named as liquidator.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said the firm was authorised and acted as a retail insurance broker, meaning that it “placed retail life protection business (such as life term insurance, whole of life insurance, critical illness insurance and income protection insurance) with insurance providers on behalf of its clients”.

But after having considered the company’s financial position, its directors concluded that Eunisure was insolvent and turned to Butcher Woods to start the liquidation process.

The FCA said should customers have any questions about the firm, their best point of contact would be Graham Butcher; whereas if they have queries about their policies, contacting the insurance provider is their best option.

Eunisure continues to be authorised and regulated by the FCA in the meantime, the watchdog added.
