Norwich-headquartered Alan Boswell Group has bought IFA firm ARW Wealth Managers for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see the team at Norwich-based ARW move into Alan Boswell’s head office, benefitting from the additional support of the wider group, while retaining the ARW Wealth Managers company name.

Financial advisers and directors Bernard Whitbourn and Ian Roberts and financial planner assistant Adele Roberts will continue to service their clients as part of the Alan Boswell financial planning team.

Roberts said: “The opportunity to join the Alan Boswell Group was very much a case of right place and right time. Bernie and I can now get back to focusing on our client’s needs, while we can relax knowing we have a huge team behind us to help manage the day-to-day running of the company. We’re confident the group will provide continuity of service and an easy transition for our clients when we choose to retire.”

John Pullin, director at Alan Boswell Financial Planners, added: “As soon as we met the team at ARW we knew they would be a great fit. They have years of experience, a fantastic client base and, culturally, they have the same approach as us; truly independent and completely client focused.”

Alan Boswell Group offers a range of services including financial planning, insurance broking and risk management.
