Global accountancy network UHY has gained its first Chinese practitioners, ZhongHua CPAs in Shanghai

Global accountancy network UHY has gained its first Chinese practitioners, ZhongHua CPAs in Shanghai

UHY is already well established in the Asia Pacific region, with offices in countries such as India, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan and New Zealand; however this is the first company to join the network from China.

Shanghai ZhongHua CPAs was established in 1985 and, according to UHY, is one of the largest accounting firms in Shanghai and China. It has 22 partners and a team of 300 staff providing audit, tax, management consultancy and corporate finance services, focussing on the needs of privately held, management controlled, listed and foreign investment companies.

UHY said the company has over 1,000 clients from sectors including banking, non-banking financial institutions, real estate development, shipping, trading, hotel, high-tech industry and manufacturing.

Managing partner, Sun Yong, said: “We joined the UHY network for a number of reasons. Training plays an important role in the continuous professional development of our partners and staff, but technical excellence is not enough today.

“The quality of our services depends on the calibre of the partner and team assigned to each of our clients, so we select people who are not only professionally knowledgeable but also committed, with proven business abilities, who can analyse, interpret and advise on international concerns.”
