UBS Group is reportedly assessing its options surrounding its wealth management operation in Spain.
According to Bloomberg, the bank is reviewing its global footprint, which may see it sell or exit its domestic business in Spain.
The business would likely be of interest to domestic Spanish banks, however it is not currently engaged in active discussions with potential purchasers of the operation.
International Adviser contacted UBS for a comment but the Swiss giant declined as it does not comment on market speculation.
This comes weeks after UBS agreed to sell its domestic wealth management business in Austria to LGT Group.
