Paris-based fixed income specialist Tikehau Investment Management has launched a dated bond fund, TK Rendement 2016, with a target annual return of 7% to maturity.

Paris-based fixed income specialist Tikehau Investment Management has launched a dated bond fund, TK Rendement 2016, with a target annual return of 7% to maturity.

The Ucits-compliant fund is invested in corporate bonds and denominated in euros, but is available to all retail investors with €1,000 or more to invest.

It consists of a diverse portfolio of mostly high-yield European bonds and is actively managed, using Tikehau’s approach of readjusting in line with market opportunities and reinvesting its coupons.

The firm said the current credit crisis had doubled credit spreads and offered "a window of opportunity for investors in the medium-term".

Tikehau Investment Management was founded in 2007 and runs several products, including European corporate bond funds, special situations funds investing in bank loans and unlisted debt, and mezzanine debt funds.
