Support services provider rolls out single dashboard adviser software

It is designed to help advice firms run their business from one dashboard

Outsourced paraplanning services provider The Verve Group has launched Dextera, which is designed to help advice firms run their business from one dashboard.

The group said that after two years in development, Dextera initially went live in July, when it was made available to existing clients. It is now available more widely.

The current software provides oversight of a firm’s compliance, team, training and business operations, as well as a place to collaborate on all regulatory and operational matters. It also includes a library of documents, guides and templates as well as providing live regulatory and business bulletins.

The group explained that future releases will include integrations with other key pieces of software, to provide a single dashboard for advice firms.

Cathi Harrison, chief executive of the Verve Group, said: “With the launch of Dextera, firms can operate their back-office functions from a single location and with the planned integrations, all their key information will also sit on a single dashboard.

“For too long in finance, the narrative has been around forcing integrations between lots of software, very little of which was built to ‘play nicely’ with other software.

“We have a different view. We don’t believe a single piece of tech can (or should) do everything − certainly not for something as multi-layered and complex as an advice firm. Instead, the tech should help simplify the running of a business. It should be used to provide peace of mind to the business owner and be a go-to resource of all the important factors in their firm.

“While we think technology is phenomenally transformative for advice, and all businesses, we also believe that it should underpin, not replace, the human element. The ability to access highly skilled humans is still incredibly important and, through Dextera, you can do this, seamlessly blending tech and people to support your company.”
