Standard Bank Offshore has launched the latest in its Quantum Plus 5 structured product series.

Standard Bank Offshore has launched the latest in its Quantum Plus 5 structured product series.

The product offers capital protection and provides interest on one half the deposit, while the other is linked to stock market returns.

The product, which is open for subscription until April 26th, is available in sterling, US dollar, euro and Australian dollar denominations. Minimum deposit amounts are £10,000, US$20,000, €15,000 or A$20,000.

The Quantum – interest rate – portion pays 5% AER for sterling, US dollar and Euro or 12% AER for Australian dollar and matures after a year.

The remainder has a five-year term and offers an unlimited return and provides a minimum return of capital plus a 5% bonus if held to maturity. Sterling deposits are linked to the FTSE 100, US dollar deposits are linked to the S&P 500, Euro deposits are linked to the EURO STOXX 50 and Australian dollar deposits are linked to the S&P/ASX 200.
