SEIs Dubai managing director Jahangir Aka is to leave his post later this month to take up the position of managing director of Neuberger Berman in the Middle East and North Africa.

Aka is due to leave SEI on 18 December and will be replaced by Samer Kader as head of the company’s Dubai office. Kader has been with SEI in Dubai since April 2013.

SEI confirmed Aka’s departure after almost nine years with the firm and said it “wished him well in his new role”.

Meanwhile, Neuberger Berman confirmed Aka would be joining the company in the New Year to replace the current regional head, Khalid Murgian. It has not been revealed where Murgian is headed.
