RWC appoints Sorge to head-up northern European business

27 Jun 11

RWC Partners has appointed Susanne Sorge to head up its German, Austrian and Swiss business.

RWC Partners has appointed Susanne Sorge to head up its German, Austrian and Swiss business.

Sorge joins the company from GLG Partners where she was also responsible for business development in northern Europe, particularly its Ucits III and absolute return funds.

RWC said it has established a presence in the region over the past four years, with its Ucits III range proving particularly popular.

Sorge, who has been with GLG Partners for four years, will join RWC at the end of October reporting to head of business development, Dan Mannix.

“We have seen significant inflows from investors based in Germany and Zurich for our Ucits III funds,” said Mannix.

“Investors are increasing their demands on fund managers and we strongly believe in supporting their needs. We are delighted that Susanne is joining to ensure our commitment in the region is maintained as our business evolves.”
