RL360° to launch new online application system

RL360° is launching a new desktop online application system for financial advisers selling its regular premium product, Quantum.

RL360° is launching a new desktop online application system for financial advisers selling its regular premium product, Quantum.

Tablet app

Later this year the insurer will also launch a tablet app version – designed to provide a fully digital, entirely paperless system which will be able to accept digital signatures.

In a statement released earlier in the week, the life company said the new desktop system will make taking out a Quantum – considered RL360°’s flagship policy – a “more cost effective, efficient and secure process”.

Agencies registered with the insurer’s online services will be able to set up their staff in a matter of minutes via the control panel or contact our web support team for assistance.

Once the policy is issued, clients can go online and will now automatically have access to all documentation.

Having tested the pilot version for several months, the firm revealed the system will also be extended to other products, although no dates have been released.

Wet signature required

RL360° said that as the desktop application will still require a wet signature, the system provides two options for completing an application:

  1. Advisers can complete a hard copy of an application with their client, who will sign it, and then this will be keyed into the online system and uploaded by the agency.
  2. The adviser and client can fill the application in online, it can be printed out and signed, and the signature then scanned back into the system.
The firm claims the new time-saving process will cut down costs.

“All of this means no hold ups while the applications are in transit to RL360° and no courier costs. It even makes it possible for a policy to be issued on the same day or the day after the application is submitted. The system also has an in-built smart validation feature which will flag up if a field has been missed or incorrectly completed,” said RL360°.
