Raymond James opens office in Cornwall

By Robbie Lawther, 12 May 22

Ex-Charles Stanley and Walker Crips employee will lead the branch

Raymond James has opened a branch in Truro, Cornwall to offer investment services across the south west of England.

It will be led by branch principal Simon Burnett, who has lived in the region for over a decade.

Raymond James Truro will provide discretionary investment management services for private individuals, charities, trusts, and business owners; as well as discretionary managed portfolio services to financial advisers.

Burnett was most recently at Charles Stanley and Walker Crips Investment Management.

Anthony Scott, head of business development at Raymond James said: “Truro is an important business hub for the south west and this new branch will be a valuable addition to our footprint in the region.

“Simon has a wealth of expertise that he has built over a long and varied career, and we look forward to helping him achieve his strategic aims over the coming years.”
