PwC has appointed a new head for its Channel Islands tax practice to replace Wendy Dorman in the role as she retires this summer after seven years in the role.

Justin Woodhouse joins from the UK firm of PwC, where he is part of the international structuring tax team for financial services in the UK.

He also leads the company’s European banking and capital markets tax team and sits on its UK tax policy panel.

Woodhouse has experience in international tax, corporate tax, transfer prices, and tax risks. He has advised clients including global and international banks, insurance companies and asset managers.

Brendan McMahon, senior partner at PwC, said: “We will continue to grow our Tax practice, building on the great work that Wendy has already done.

“[Woodhouse] will be instrumental in driving high levels of client satisfaction throughout the Channel Islands and looking at the challenges and opportunities ahead for the local market and beyond.”

Woodhouse said: “I have much enjoyed collaborating with Wendy for some years. She has grown a great practice and I am very enthused at the opportunities for serving our clients in the Channel Islands at a time of so much change and renewal in the international tax scene.”
