The global asset manager promotes Lily Choh as chief executive of Singapore.
She was previously deputy chief executive of Schroders Singapore and head of institutional of Asia Pacific.
Choh will transition out of her dual role as head of institutional for Apac by the end of the year.
She succeeds Susan Soh, who as chief executive of Schroders Singapore for the last 14 years.
Also, the firm’s UK financial advice joint venture, Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW), has hired two personal wealth advisers as it looks to expand into Northern Ireland.
Pamela Wilson and Steven Crothers have recently joined the business and will be focusing on bringing financial advice services to those in Northern Ireland.
Wilson joins SPW from Moore Stephens Financial Services (NI), where she worked as a consultant giving independent wealth management advice to private and corporate clients. Before joining SPW, Crothers spent six years working as a wealth management partner at True Potential in Belfast advising high net worth clients.
Sandringham Financial Partners
The advice firm has hired Jim Quinn as an advising partner and financial planner.
He has 39 years’ experience in financial services and was previously at Watt Money, where he was a financial planner.
Tilney Smith & Williamson
The UK wealth manager has named Claire McCombe as an investment manager in Belfast.
McCombe previously led the private banking business in Northern Ireland for Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where she spent six years.
Dynamic Planner
The tech firm has hired Alan Ferguson as head of enterprise sales and Ben Howell as head of marketing.
Ferguson previously held senior sales positions with Standard Life Aberdeen, Parmenion, Ascentric and Zurich.
Howell had previous roles at Quilter and Intrinsic.
Generali Investments Partners
The investment firm has named Almudena Mendaza Sanz as head of sales Iberia.
Sanz was head of sales Iberia at Natixis Investment Managers.
HSBC Asset Management
The asset manager has appointed Bhaven Patel as global head of ETF capital markets.
Patel joins from DWS Xtrackers where he was director of ETF capital markets for six years.
Aegon Asset Management
Jane Hepburne Scott has been named as investment manager, based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
She joins Aegon AM from Edinburgh Partners, where she was an investment analyst.
