PEOPLE MOVES: Schroders Personal Wealth, IQ-EQ, FE Fundinfo

Advice business hires chief client officer, while investor services firm makes c-suite change

Schroders Personal Wealth

The advice joint venture between Schroders and Lloyds Banking group has named Ben Waterhouse as chief client officer.

He will join from Barclays Wealth, where he served as managing director and head of distribution, in Q2 2022.

IQ-EQ

Emma Crabtree joins the investor services provider as group chief commercial officer to facilitate the firm’s growth plans.

She was previously global head of sales at BNP Paribas Securities Services.

FE Fundinfo

The global fund data provider has hired Simon Clare as chief product officer.

He will be responsible for developing products and service lines as well as enhancing the firm’s existing solutions.

Most recently, Clare was at Bravura, where he served as chief technology officer.

Fiduchi

The Jersey-headquartered financial services provider has recruited Scott Le Flour as chief operating officer.

He will be tasked with overseeing the delivery of services to clients and intermediaries.

Le Flour was previously at Standard Chartered, where he most recently worked as country head – governance and control as well as chief operating officer for the retail bank.

Prudential

Will Major has stepped down from his role at Prudential as chief transformation officer for Africa.

He has joined employee benefits provider Unum as chief change officer.

Major will be responsible for delivering sustainable and long-term growth by partnering with brokers.

Canada Life Asset Management

The asset management arm of Canada Life has strengthened its multi-asset team.

Jordan Sriharan has taken on the role of fund manager to develop and run a range of mixed-asset investment strategies for advisers, discretionary fund manager and institutional investors.

He was previously head of managed portfolio service at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management for eight years.

PGIM Real Estate

Julie Townsend has been hired as ESG lead for Europe and Asia Pacific at PGIM Real Estate, based in London.

She spent the last 15 years at CBRE, most recently as head of environmental consultancy.

Harneys

Global law firm Harneys has started 2022 with a plethora of promotions.

Seven members of staff have become partners: Ian Clark in Hong Kong; Francesca Gibbons in London; Joshua Mangeot in the British Virgin islands; Charles Moore and James Smith in the Cayman Islands; Maria Pia Buchi, managing director of Harneys Fiduciary; and, Felice Swapp, global chief operating officer.

Three people have also been promoted to counsel: Mathieu Gangloff and Massimiliano della Zonca in Luxembourg; and Matthew Howson in London.

Redmill Group

Financial services education and e-learning services provider Redmill Advance has appointed Jon Dodson as technical and propositions manager.

He was previously platform academy manager at Aegon.

Dodson will be responsible for developing Redmill’s programmes as well as the various academies the firm runs on behalf of key clients.
