Quilter Investors
Quilter Investors has appointed Investec Wealth’s Adrian Todd as senior manager research analyst.
Todd spent over eight years at Investec analysing long-only, alternatives, and passive strategies. Previously, he was an associate director of fund research at Coutts for almost five years where he made the move from portfolio management to fund research.
In his new role, Todd will be responsible for researching funds in the alternative investment universe, including hedge funds for private markets and infrastructure.
Hawksmoor IM
The firm has promoted head of fund management Ben Conway to chief investment officer and chair of the firm’s investment committee.
Conway joined the wealth manager in July 2010, and has worked on the fund management team since 2011. He currently heads up the Hawksmoor Fund Managers funds business and has co-managed the firm’s Vanbrugh, Distribution and Global Opportunities funds since January 2014.
Conway will remain a named fund manager on the Hawksmoor funds, as well as as head of Hawksmoor Fund Managers. As part of the move, the firm’s research team will report to him.
JTC
JTC has promoted Mark Fleming to head of private client services in Jersey.
He will assume responsibility for the Jersey team’s activities within JTC’s private client services division, and he will work with colleagues across the firm’s international network to continue to develop and evolve JTC’s proposition for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and families.
Fleming takes over the role from Paul Weir, who has moved to a new strategic position within JTC’s group risk and compliance team.
Having joined JTC in 2020, Fleming was previously deputy head of Private Client Services in Jersey. He began his career as a chartered accountant with one of the ‘big four’ and has also spent over a decade working for a bank-owned trust company.

The firm has named Quilter Cheviot’s Daniel Lewis as an investment director in its Chelmsford branch.
Lewis was brought on to the team after spending over 22 years at Quilter Cheviot, where he worked as an investment manager focusing on private clients and alongside the ‘introducer community’, including financial planners, solicitors, and accountants.
