Quilter Investors
Chief investment officer Bambos Hambi is going to retire at the end of the year.
He joined Quilter a year ago from Standard life Investments, where he was head of the MyFolio range.
Hambi said that due to changing personal circumstances during the pandemic, he decided to cut his time at Quilter short.
The process of finding a successor is currently in advanced stages, the firm said.
Deutsche Bank Wealth Management
Anurag Mahesh has re-joined the German banking giant as vice chairman for APAC wealth management.
In the newly created role, he will focus on building client relationships in the region as well as assisting the coverage and advisory teams with their relationships with existing clients.
Mahesh was at UBS, where he served as co-head of global family office for Asia-Pacific.
He was previously at Deutsche Bank from 2007 to 2017 holding a wide range of roles, his latest as global head of key client partners.
BMO
Gary Potter, co-head of multi-manager at BMO Gam, will retire after more than four decades in the industry.
He will step back from front-line fund management and transfer the responsibilities to the wider team and leave his post by the end of Q1 2022.
As a result, Rob Burdett will become the sole head of BMO’s multi-manager division.
Potter will remain available as a consultant on an exclusive arrangement, the firm said.
Ninety One
The investment management firm has promoted Nazmeera Moola to chief sustainability officer.
Since 2013, she served as deputy managing director and head of South African investments.
In the newly created role, Moola will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sustainability initiatives, including investment integration, advocacy, corporate transition to net zero, and development and implementation efforts to mobilise funding for an inclusive net zero transition.
Aviva Singlife
Navigator Investment Services, part of Aviva Singlife, has hired Akhil Doegar as chief executive, based in Singapore and effective from 3 December 2021.
He joins from DBS Bank, where he spent more than 17 years in various roles, most recently as managing director and head of the digital payments group.
Fidelity International
The global asset manager has named Nick Haaijman as global head of private asset solutions.
He was previously at CVC Credit Partners, where he worked as head of client servicing.
Tilney Smith & Williamson (TSW)
The wealth management group has recruited Andrew Lewin as an investment director in London.
He joins from Kleinwort Hambros, where he served as a director and provided wealth management solutions to UK and international families.
Brooks Macdonald International
The investment management firm has made a series of promotions in its Jersey division.
Peter Davies and Stephen Le Lievre will become investment directors. They joined the firm in 2021 and 2018, respectively.
Rachel Greenway, who has been at the company since 2020, will become senior investment manager.
Rachel Evans will take on the role of relationship manager, while Jonny Snowden and Stephanie Martins have been promoted to business manager and assistant compliance manager, respectively.
UBS Asset Management
Ross Dilkes is leaving the asset management firm in Singapore.
The fund manager was the lead of 15 Asian fixed-income funds.

The UK private bank has appointed India Gary-Martin as a non-executive director.
She brings 25 years’ experience in financial services and currently sits on the board of Euromoney Institutional Investor, the African Gifted Foundation and the Women’s Leadership Institute of Baltimore.
