HSBC Global Asset Management
The firm has named Stuart White as global head of strategy, and UK and international chief executive.
White has been head of strategy at HSBC Global Asset Management since September 2015.
As part of his new role, White will be responsible for HSBC Global Asset Management’s entities in the UK, Bermuda, Malta, Turkey, and have oversight responsibilities for asset management activities in Saudi Arabia and for Hang Seng Investment Management in Hong Kong.
The UK chief executive appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Andy Clark, who was previously UK chief executive, has decided to leave the business to pursue other opportunities.
Seven Investment Management (7IM)
Robert Hardy has left the investment company, where he was head of intermediary sales and director of strategic partners.
He was at the firm for just over a decade.
Hardy said: “After more than 10 years with 7IM, with recent years being part of the senior leadership team, I have decided that the next step for me should be outside of 7IM.”
IQ-EQ
The firm has hired Peter Golovsky as head of private wealth Asia.
He will be responsible to drive growth in the region with a focus on entrepreneurs, family business and family offices.
Golovsky joins from Cone Marshall, where he was global head of fiduciary services and head of Asia.
National Australia Bank
Anthony Healy is leaving the bank, where he was chief customer officer of business and private banking.
He has held executive roles at the company for the last ten years.
Healy will continue in the role until 30 April.
Michael Saadie will act as chief customer officer of business and private banking, while the company looks for a long-term replacement.
Saadie is chief risk officer of business and private banking.
InvestCloud
The global digital wealth management solutions provider has named Taryn Balthazar as executive vice president and head of distribution in Asia Pacific and Australia.
She joined the firm four years ago and was most recently commercial director.
Balthazar will be joined by InvestCloud specialists from its headquarters in California to build the Singapore office.
Raymond James
Paul Edwards and Glyn Edwards have joined the wealth firm as branch principals of its newly established Liverpool office.
Prior to Raymond James, both were at Redmayne Bentley.
Tilney
The UK wealth management group has hired Barry Davidson as a financial planner at its Edinburgh office.
Davidson joins from Thorntons Investments, where he worked since 2012, most recently as head of financial planning.
He has also held roles at Prudential Financial Planning, and Standard Life Client Management.
