PEOPLE MOVES: Holborn Assets, Vitality, Deutsche Bank WM

Advice firm names managing partner of Middle East region, while UK insurer bolsters life operation

Holborn Assets

Global advice firm has named Stefan Terry as managing partner of Middle East region.

Terry joined Holborn in 2017 as senior partner.

Vitality

The insurance firm has appointed Justin Taurog as managing director of VitalityLife.

He has been at Vitality for over 13 years. Taurog will undertake the role in addition to his current role as managing director of VitalityInvest.

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management (DBWM)

Yi-Mun Tse has joined the private bank as managing director and group head for north Asia.

She joined from HSBC where she was the market head for Hong Kong.

Bank J Safra Sarasin

The private banking group has hired Amir Nabi as executive director in London, according to his Linkedin profile.

Nabi was previously at now-defunct London wealth manager Dolfin as executive director.

IQ-EQ

The financial services provider has named Edwin Chan as chief commercial officer for UK and Ireland.

He was previously at Intertrust Group, where he was senior director, head of funds business development, UK.

Indosuez Wealth Management

The global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole group has appointed Josephine Tom as fixed income specialist for the bank’s Hong Kong branch.

Prior to joining Indosuez, she spent 16 years with DBS Bank in Hong Kong, where she was fixed income sales head for over two years

Axa Investment Managers Alternatives

Marion Redel-Delabarre will lead the strategic expansion of the firm’s for private wealth.

She previously spent over five years at Axa Investment Managers, most recently head of wholesale for France, Monaco, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Neuberger Berman

The investment manager has hired Michelle Dunne to join the consultant coverage leadership team as a managing director.

Dunne joins from BlackRock where she was head of global consultant relations (EMEA) responsible for the development and execution of alternatives strategies for global, local and specialist consultants across the region.

Sanford DeLand Asset Management (SDL)

The asset manager has expanded its investment and operations teams with three appointments.

David Beggs joined the team as investment analyst, while John O’Donnell joined as compliance officer and money laundering reporting officer.

The most recent appointment is Chloe Smith, who joined as investment analyst.

Beggs’ previous role was investment management executive at Castlefield, O’Donnell was previously at Link Fund Solutions, while Smith was a portfolio manager at Brown Shipley.
