The insurance firm has appointed Lindsey Rix as UK chief executive following the departure of Doug Brown late last year.
Rix joins from Aviva where she led their UK savings and retirement business.

The insurance giant has named Rob Barker as managing director of UK savings and retirement.
Barker was previously managing director of Aviva’s health and protection business.
Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)
The regulator has named Mark Cutis as chief executive, who will assume his position on 1 June 2021.
Cutis was the group chief financial officer at Adnoc as well as being chief adviser of finance and investments.

Rahim Daya has been appointed chief executive of the bank’s Switzerland operation and will relocate to the Barclays’ Geneva office, where he will be responsible for positioning the business for growth in the region.
He will also retain his position as head of the Middle East market for Barclays Private Bank.

The UK life insurance provider has appointed Jeff Woods as its head of intermediary development, replacing Richard Kateley who is retiring after 33 years.
Woods joins L&G from Sesame Bankhall Group, where he is currently business development director.

The Liechtenstein banking group has appointed Pamela Hsu Phua as chief executive of its Asia operation.
She was most recently head of Pictet’s Asia family office.
Phoenix Group
Reema Kotecha joins the firm in the newly created role of chief operating officer for asset management.
She was previously at EY, where she was director in its wealth and asset management consulting division.

The UK wealth management group has hired Hazel Bowen as a financial planner in the Cambridge office.
Bowen joins following five years as a financial planner at IFA firm Smith & Pinching.

The advice firm has appointed Sue Laver as practice supervisor and risk manager.
Laver previously supported appointed representatives and registered individuals on all compliance aspects of their businesses at adviser network Personal Touch Financial Services.

The UK investment firm has hired Sylvia Solomon as director of ESG and business development.
She joins from Gulf International Bank, where she was head of product development.

Wilson was most recently president and chief executive of travel commerce platform Travelport.

The accountancy firm has promoted two directors to partner.
Margi Campbell is based in Inverness and provides advice and tax planning to a client base that includes wealthy entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, professional partnerships, family businesses and landed estate clients.
Hannah Mazrae is based in Bournemouth and specialises in providing advice and support to a range of clients, including landed estates, agribusinesses and the commercial sector, working with directors, trustees and individuals on accounting, audit and taxation matters.

Will James to manage a European equity income fund at the investment company.
He was previously deputy head of European equities at Aberdeen Standard Investments.

The discretionary investment firm of Man Group has hired Jonathan Golan as a portfolio manager in its credit team.
He joins Man GLG from Schroders, where he most recently served as lead fund manager of the Schroder Sterling Corporate Bond and Schroder Strategic Bond funds.
Nomura Asset Management UK
The asset manager has named Victoria Robinson as a portfolio manager within the unconstrained fixed income team in London.
She joins Nomura from RBC Wealth Management where she spent two years.
