Based in Jersey, O’Donoghue was responsible for the UK headquartered company’s sales in the Nordic region and Channel Islands.
A spokesperson said O’Donoghue had left in April and that it is currently “reviewing its future activity in these markets” and has therefore so far not appointed a replacement.
O’Donoghue’s departure does not indicate a pull back by the company from international markets. Indeed, at the end of last week it announced the appointment of Peter Swarbreck as head of its Asia Pacific operations.
Based in the company’s Hong Kong office, which was opened in August last year, Swarbreck will work with Tony Yu, who joined Jupiter as sales director (Hong Kong) in January and David Conway, who has worked as Jupiter’s sales director in Singapore since 2009.
Swarbreck will report to distribution and strategy director Maarten Slendebroek who was appointed in September last year from BlackRock where he had been head of the company’s international retail business.
