Ho joins the company from Fidelity Worldwide Investment where she was regional head of Southeast Asia from 2006. Prior to Fidelity, Ho had been Singapore country head of Franklin Templeton.
She will be based in Singapore.
NGAM said her appointment is part of a continued expansion of its wholesale capabilities in the region and follows the opening of a new office in Hong Kong in November last year, the firm’s fifth in the Asia Pacific region.
“Madeline brings with her an unparalleled depth of experience in the region that will be critical to our continued growth and expansion in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. Her knowledge and understanding of the needs of retail and high-net-worth investors will be instrumental in helping construct more durable portfolios that can meet the challenges of modern markets,” said John Hailer, president and chief executive officer, the Americas and Asia.
