Momentum Pensions launches online Sipp portal

By Kirsten Hastings, 4 Apr 18

Momentum Pensions is positioning itself for further expansion in the growing UK Sipp market by launching a portal that enables applications to be submitted online.

By following a step-by-step guide, the online portal makes the process of submitting a Sipp application much faster and easier, because the basic application can be done online instead of using paper, the company said.

The pensions specialist and Sipp provider; which offers specialist pension solutions for UK residents, British expatriates and international clients, said that it has invested in its digital capabilities to enhance its service standard.

Quick and efficient

Stewart Davies, group chief executive, Momentum Pensions, said: “We are committed to providing advisers and clients with the high standards of service that they expect and deserve.

“The new portal will enable us to respond even more quickly and efficiently to the increasing number of applications for Sipps.”

How it works

In addition to allowing advisers to submit Sipp applications online, the portal also offers an online Key Facts Illustration (KFI) tool; which shows benefits at retirement, the effect of charges and reduction in yield, and the ability to adjust inputs as often as required.

Advisers can receive the KFI as a PDF and access the latest KFI from client accounts.

Applications can also be saved online and completed at a later time. All client verification checks can also be completed online.

The service enables electronic signatures; but, in scenarios where firms don’t accept electronic signatures, it will be possible to receive PDFs via email so that the document can be printed and signed by hand.
